Sacred Heart Convent Institution, conducted by St. Joseph’s Education and Medical Relief Society, Mumbai under the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross, Liege, Belgium in 1833, founded by Mother Marie Therese Haz. The management and staff are devoted to empower girls through quality education, promote gender equity, develop life skills and imbibe universal values to promote a dignified life to the fullest. Success Story Of Students
Here is the success story of our students Rabiya Basri Farooqui and Tanya Thomas of Convent High School,keshwapur Hubballi 580023. Their Journey to success started in the year 2020- 2021, when they were studying in std IX , they participated in the Annual school. Science exhibition with their models:-
- Rabiya Farooqui :- Antisleep \Drowsiness Accident Preventor.
- Tanya Thomas :- Techno Magical umbrella.
With the guidance and support of our school principal Sr. Leena Fernandes both the students were encouraged to register their names for the 10th inspire award manak competition 2020-2021. Both were selected for taluk level and were qualified for district level and received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- for the preparation of the model and they also received a certificate of award by inspire manak. They got selected for the state level on 21st January 2022. They had been for the mentoring workshop at NIT suratkal, Mangalore, where only 5 students were selected from Dharwad District. On 15th July 2023they got selected for the National level. They were assigned a sum of Rs. 25000/- by education Department which they could have made use of improvising their models. Finally Rabiya , Tanya and some more students from Karnataka left to Delhi for the final round on 7th October 2023. The inspire award Manak Competition was held in Indira Gandhi Gymnastics Stadium Delhi. Rabiya’s Model and Presentation.
